Hermetica Open Datasets

The downloadable ingredient dataset contains 6,100 publication-gated profiles from an audited 16,246-record source corpus. Interaction downloads contain only records that meet the accountable-review gate; the separate raw corpus of 121,278 rows is not exported as medical conclusions. It is released under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.

What’s in it

Ingredients (6,100 rows at the 2026-07-11 audited baseline)

At the 2026-07-11 baseline, one row is exported per publication-gated ingredient profile. The remaining source records are pending or quarantined and are not exported. The response's X-Row-Count header and live stats API provide runtime counts. Inclusion does not establish Google indexing or human approval. Columns include: ingredient_key, ingredient_name, canonical_name, category_primary, category_group, evidence_score (0-10), evidence_score_status (validated or provisional), publication_state, evidence_validation_status, evidence_issue_codes, human_reviewed, short_answer, health_benefits, mechanism_of_action, clinical_summary, also_known_as, updated_at.

Interactions (reviewed-only export)

One row per supplement-drug or supplement-supplement interaction that has an accountable reviewer, review timestamp, evidence level, and valid citation identifier. The current count is returned in the response's X-Row-Countheader. Raw generated severity labels are excluded. Columns include: substance_a_slug, substance_b_slug, severity (contraindicated, major, moderate, minor, safe), evidence_level (strong, moderate, weak), mechanism, verdict_summary, plain_english, canonical url, updated_at.
